Mathematical study on two-fluid model for flow of K–L fluid in a stenosed artery with porous wall

چکیده

Abstract The present communication presents a theoretical study of blood flow through stenotic artery with porous wall comprising Brinkman and Darcy layers. governing equations describing the subjected to boundary conditions have been solved analytically under low Reynolds number mild stenosis assumptions. Some special cases problem are also presented mathematically. significant effects rheology on physiological quantities investigated. results reveal that shear stress at throat increases dramatically for thinner (i.e. smaller values regions) rate increase is found be 18.46% while it decreases thicker higher decrease 10.21%. Further, streamline pattern in region has plotted discussed.
